Shrunk and Pureed

  1. I’m tired too. I drove around all day in a vehicle with no air. Heat sucks. Anyway, Craig suggests pureed blueberries, they are supposed to be very high in antioxidants and other good stuff like that.

Of all the things I have to do/have had to do for this surgery, eating pureed foods is what disturbs me the most. I don’t know why, but it’s just one of those things. Regardless, I’m willing to do it if it means losing weight. Please let me know how the pureed cauliflower turns out, I would rather imagine broccoli would be about the same. Those are two of my favorite vegetables. I’m anxious to hear about any other pureed foods that you try as well.

  2. I have made cauliflower puree before. I like it, but there is one caveat. Don’t oversteam it. Cauliflower can absorb a lot of liquid and it’s not good if it is too watery. Steam it until it is just tender and drain all the excess liquid out.

I used to puree blueberries with coconut milk and it was great. I wonder what other liquid works.
